Trying to use this app on my Mac is a nightmare—it just keeps shutting down, so I can't get anything done. Reaching out to support was pointless since they never got back to me. It's really disappointing, especially since I've purchased several books from them before and actually enjoyed them. :(

I'm over 70% through the French 'with ease' course, and honestly, I'm not enjoying it at all. My old middle school textbook was way better, no contest. At first, things are manageable—just a handful of new words and grammar points, so you can keep up. But as you move forward, most of the explanations are crammed into footnotes and scattered everywhere. The end result? A jumble of confusing info, barely any practice, and hardly any exercises.

Right now, I have to read each dialogue at least five times, but it doesn't help much. If you're lucky, the exercises cover phrases that showed up once in the lesson's footnotes. If not, they're from some random spot earlier in the book. There's a big summary at the back with all the grammar and vocab, but to be real, you'll probably forget it's even there while slogging through the daily two-lesson routine. The whole thing seems to assume you'll just magically remember everything after seeing it once, which, let's be honest, isn't how it works.

That's just how it went for me, even when I was giving it my all. Maybe it'll click for you, but if you can, try it out for a bit before you commit to buying.

The replies I got were pretty rude, and a few of my emails just got ignored when I asked for the book’s audio. I wouldn’t suggest purchasing from this place—there are other companies out there that treat customers better and do a good job helping you learn a language.

Looking to pick up a new language? Give this approach a shot—it’s honestly a solid choice.

PROS:
- The company’s been around since 1929, so they know their stuff.
- This technique has shown time and again that it works really well.
- You’ll notice improvement even if you only spend a quarter of an hour daily.

CONS:
- I think the book could use a few more colorful pictures, but that’s just a small gripe from me.

If you're looking to pick up a new language, this approach is definitely the way to go.

- You can see real improvement with just 15 minutes of practice each day.
